Lateral Partner — Technology & Intellectual Property (Washington, D.C.)

Established national firm seeks a lateral partner to expand its Technology & Intellectual Property practice in Washington, D.C. The role will focus on leading patent litigation matters with a strong emphasis on life‑sciences and technology disputes, alongside work at the intersection of antitrust and private‑equity transactions.

The partner will manage and develop a litigation team, handle high‑stakes courtroom and enforcement matters, and work closely with cross‑practice colleagues on transactions and regulatory issues. The team also acts for clients in energy and other technology‑driven sectors.

We are looking for a partner with an established portable practice and demonstrable business‑generation capability to contribute to continued growth in the market.

• Partner‑level patent litigation experience, preferably with life sciences and/or technology matters
• Experience handling antitrust or competition work, particularly where it intersects with private equity or transactional matters
• Demonstrated trial and/or contested hearing experience
• Proven business development record and ability to grow a portable practice
• Bar admission in D.C. (or ability to become admitted)
