Partner, Intellectual Property & Technology — Washington, D.C.

Experienced intellectual property partner sought to join a well-established Washington, D.C. practice focused on technology-driven matters. The role will handle high-profile patent, trademark and technology counseling matters across regulated industries.

The team has particular strength in telecommunications and life sciences matters; the partner will work with cross-practice teams advising clients on IP strategy, licensing, and technology transactions.

We are looking for a commercial, business-focused leader who can develop and expand client relationships within these sectors. A portable practice or demonstrable track record of originating client work is required.

• Established partner with significant IP/technology experience (patent, trademark, licensing or related transactional work).
• Proven business development track record and ability to bring or grow client relationships, particularly in telecom or life sciences.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams on complex technology and regulatory issues.
• Strong litigation or counseling background preferred depending on candidate strengths; excellent client-facing and mentoring skills.
