Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a Chicago-based Technology, Media & Entertainment (TMT) practice within a major national firm. The role combines client-facing deal work and strategic business development across technology, media, and telecommunications sectors.

The successful candidate will have a portable practice or demonstrable ability to originate and cultivate client relationships and will work closely with existing teams to expand market presence in the region. This is an opportunity to shape a high‑visibility practice and mentor junior lawyers.

Established partner-level experience in TMT matters (transactions, commercial agreements, licensing, or regulatory work).
Proven business development track record and the ability to bring or grow client relationships.
Strong team leadership and mentoring experience; comfortable working collaboratively with multidisciplinary groups.
Bar admission in Illinois or willingness to obtain admission; strong professional references.
