Partner-level role to lead and grow a Technology and Media & Entertainment practice in Tokyo. The role is client-facing and commercial, advising on technology transactions, media rights, and telecommunications matters for regional and international clients.

The firm is seeking a senior lawyer who can develop business, manage a team, and act as a visible market-facing partner in Japan. The position is offered on a location‑agnostic basis with primary responsibility for building and maintaining a portable practice.

Established partner with a proven record in technology transactions, media/entertainment or telecom matters.
Business development skills and a demonstrable ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Experience leading teams and managing client engagements on cross‑border matters.
Strong commercial judgment; fluency in English is required, Japanese language ability advantageous.
