Seeking a partner to join a busy Technology/Media/Entertainment practice in New York with a focus on telecommunications, broadband, wireless and related regulatory work. The role will combine regulatory counseling, government contracts matters and commercial advice for communications-sector clients.

The team advises on federal and state regulatory compliance, licensing and government procurement issues for carriers, vendors and service providers. You will work alongside multidisciplinary lawyers handling transactional, policy and administrative-law aspects of TMT matters.

The firm is looking for a partner with an established regulatory/government-contracts practice; a portable book of business is welcome and there will be expectations for client development and practice growth.

Partner-level experience counseling telecom/communications clients on regulatory, licensing and government-contracts matters
Strong track record of client development and a portable practice welcome
Excellent knowledge of FCC and state regulatory regimes, plus experience with procurement and government-contracts processes
Admission to the New York bar (or willing/able to obtain) and ability to work on cross-practice matters
