A leading international law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its established Tax practice in McLean (Northern Virginia). The role will involve advising corporate and high-net-worth clients on a range of tax matters and taking a senior leadership role within the local team.

The partner will manage client relationships, supervise and mentor associates, and work closely with cross-disciplinary teams across the firm. A demonstrable record of originating and developing business is required; candidates with a portable practice will be strongly considered.

Proven partner-level tax practice with experience advising corporate or private clients on complex tax matters.
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction (or ability to obtain) and strong technical tax skills.
Track record of originating business and managing client relationships; portable book of business welcomed.
Experience leading teams and collaborating across practice groups; excellent communication skills.
