Lateral Tax Partner — Northern Virginia (McLean)

Well-established international law firm is seeking a lateral Tax Partner to join its Northern Virginia (McLean) office. The role will lead and grow a tax practice serving corporate and high-net-worth clients across federal, state and transactional tax matters.

The partner will manage and mentor a team of tax lawyers, collaborate with other practices on cross-border and transactional work, and be a visible rainmaker for the region. Portable client relationships or an ability to develop a book of business are important for success in this role.

• Established partner-level tax practitioner with significant experience in federal and state tax matters and transactional tax planning.
• Track record of originating or managing client relationships and business development; portable practice preferred.
• Experience supervising associates and collaborating across practice groups.
• Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s) and eligibility to practice locally.
