Leading U.S. law firm seeks a Lateral Tax Partner to be based in its Raleigh office. The role will focus on delivering sophisticated federal and state tax advice to corporate and high-net-worth clients across a range of transactional and advisory matters.

The successful candidate will join an established tax group and be expected to contribute both technically and commercially — managing matters, mentoring junior lawyers, and helping grow the practice. A portable practice or demonstrable origination capability is welcome.

Established tax partner with substantial experience in federal and state tax matters (transactional and/or planning).
Proven track record of originating and developing client relationships and managing client engagements.
Experience leading teams and mentoring junior lawyers.
Active bar admission and ability to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction; must be able to be based in Raleigh.
