Apply in confidence →Seeking a disputes lawyer (PQE 2–5) to join a busy construction disputes team in Melbourne. The role focuses on litigation, arbitration and other dispute resolution work across the construction and infrastructure sectors in Victoria and interstate.
The team handles high‑profile, technically complex matters and offers exposure to a full lifecycle practice, including security of payment, contract disputes and alternate dispute resolution. The role involves carriage of matters, client engagement and working closely with senior lawyers in a collaborative environment.
The firm supports flexible and sustainable ways of working and actively uses legal technology and AI tools to drive efficiency and innovation.
- 2–5 years post‑qualification experience, with a background in construction disputes
- Proven litigation and/or arbitration experience and advocacy capability
- Experience managing matters end‑to‑end and engaging directly with clients
- Strong drafting, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a commercial approach to problem solving
