In this role, you will join a high-performing General Insurance team, advising insurers and insured clients on a broad range of construction and engineering matters, including defect, indemnity, and liability disputes, as well as large-scale litigated claims from construction and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day conduct of commercial litigation matters with appropriate supervision and support
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, submissions, affidavits, and other court and tribunal documents
- Appearing at mediations, settlement conferences, tribunals, and court hearings
- Preparing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice for clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
- Managing client reporting requirements and client portal obligations
- Working closely with colleagues across the team on complex and interesting matters
- Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers, graduates, and seasonal clerks
About You
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate
- Have 3+ years' PAE, with experience in construction, engineering, and/or property insurance matters
- Experience acting in subrogated recovery matters is advantageous but not essential
- Enjoy working directly with clients and building trusted professional relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and collaborative approach to work
