Legal Consultant | Commercial Disputes | Melbourne

Opportunity: A 3-month contractor role based in Melbourne (hybrid) supporting a leading Victorian government organisation with commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

• Manage commercial disputes and litigation files end-to-end
• Coordinate with external legal providers and advise internal stakeholders
• Assess contractual claims and project-related risks

Candidate Profile: You are an experienced commercial disputes lawyer with at least 3 years’ PQE, ideally from private practice or in-house within large organisations.

• Strong background in commercial litigation and dispute management
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Exposure to construction, infrastructure, or government sectors is advantageous

• Current Australian practising certificate
• Right to live and work in Australia
