Opportunity for an experienced derivatives and structured finance lawyer to join a global legal consulting platform, supporting banks and financial institutions on cross-asset structured products, hedging, securitisation and collateral/derivatives documentation. Assignments are typically six months or longer and cover transactional drafting, negotiation, product governance and project/transaction management.

The role suits a self-directed senior lawyer who wants flexible, high-calibre advisory work across banking and capital markets, with access to training, knowledge resources and firm-side support while remaining responsible for managing their own consulting career.

At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in derivatives and structured finance
Minimum ~2 years' post-qualification experience at a top-tier law firm for derivatives/structured finance
Strong experience with ISDAs, CSAs, securitisation/structured finance documentation, and cross-asset structured products
Experience advising banks or other financial institutions preferred (in-house or secondee experience advantageous)
Proven project/transaction management skills, commercial judgement and excellent stakeholder communication
Consultant mindset: autonomous, client-focused, adaptable and resilient
Right to reside and work in the UK and a practising certificate (or equivalent) permitting UK practice
