Short-term (12 months) full-time, hybrid opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to join a major financial services organisation via a flexible legal-resourcing arrangement. The role provides hands-on employment law work across a broad business, combining advisory, compliance and stakeholder-facing tasks.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing complex employment matters (including Work Health & Safety and anti-discrimination issues), providing BAU employment support, monitoring legislative change, and engaging with employment regulators such as the Fair Work Ombudsman and the Fair Work Commission.

Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in employment law (private practice or in-house)
Current Australian practising certificate and right to live and work in Australia
Proven experience advising on WHS and anti-discrimination compliance and dealing with employment regulators
Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical advice and to influence stakeholders at all levels
