Interim legal consultant role supporting TMT matters across the UAE on fixed-term assignments. Typical engagements are six months (with some 3–6 month opportunities) and are commonly based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai; full-time and flexible arrangements may be available.

The work focuses on technology, media and telecommunications legal issues, including data protection, cybersecurity, e‑commerce, digital transformation and regulatory compliance for both private- and public-sector clients and service providers.

This opportunity suits experienced TMT lawyers who want to take on project-based in-house style assignments while retaining access to professional support, development and networks.

Minimum 7 years' post-qualification experience in TMT matters at a top-tier law firm
Practical experience in data protection, cybersecurity, e‑commerce, digital transformation and regulatory compliance
Preferably recent in-house experience within the tech/telecoms sector
Experience working in the Middle East and Arabic language skills preferred
Consultant mindset: adaptable, client-focused and able to manage assignments autonomously
Valid practising certificate or equivalent entitling the candidate to practise in the region
