We are hiring a full-time Legal Counsel (Rechtsanwalt / In‑House) to join an international firm’s Germany risk & compliance team. The role is open at multiple German offices (Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf) and is expected to start on 1 July 2026.

You will work on internal compliance matters that arise for a professional services entity, with primary focus on professional conduct rules, anti-money laundering prevention and data protection. Typical duties include legal research, drafting and reviewing internal policies and contract clauses, developing compliance processes, and supporting colleague training and advisory requests.

German legal degree with two Staatsexamina (qualified Rechtsanwalt)
Structured, careful approach with strong initiative and practical problem‑solving skills
Enjoy working in teams and interacting across the organisation
Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
Proficient with MS Office; experience with compliance documentation, policy drafting, AML and data protection matters preferred
