Legal Technology & AI Attorney — M&A / Private Equity

Seeking an attorney to join a US-based transactional practice group focused on M&A and private equity. This role sits at the intersection of deal practice and legal technology, helping translate AI and automation into practical drafting, review, and knowledge tools for transactional teams.

The position will collaborate across offices and with KM, IT, research, and practice leaders to prototype, implement, and scale AI-assisted workflows, document automation, prompt libraries, and precedent infrastructure. The role includes running pilots, training lawyers and staff, and maintaining transactional drafting resources.

Open to candidates based in any U.S. office; preference may be given to certain major offices. The role requires strong transactional judgment, an innovator’s mindset, and the ability to convert legal expertise into usable technology and knowledge products.

• J.D. (or equivalent) and admitted to practice in the U.S. jurisdiction where based; in good standing.
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in M&A and/or private equity transactional practice (other transactional backgrounds considered).
• Demonstrated interest and perspective on AI, automation, and emerging legal technologies; experience applying tools to deal workflows.
• Track record of collaborating with attorneys, technologists, and KM/IT teams; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise independent judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with workflow design, document automation, precedent management, or similar projects; personal or professional coding/technical experience is highly valued.
