Top-tier corporate team seeks a mid-level associate to join a life sciences-focused practice in Washington, DC. The role involves working on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters for high-growth and public companies across the lifecycle, including equity financings, registered offerings, IPOs, M&A and corporate governance.

Successful candidates will work on public-company matters and SEC-related work, collaborate on deal teams, and manage substantial components of transactions with increasing autonomy. The group advises clients across the US and internationally and welcomes candidates with direct life sciences experience or a strong interest in the sector.

Bar admission (or prompt eligibility) in the relevant jurisdiction is required. Excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills are expected.

2–4 years’ transactional corporate experience (private and public company work)
Experience with registered equity offerings, ongoing SEC matters, and M&A transactions
Life sciences industry experience preferred but not required; strong interest in the sector considered
Proven ability to work on teams and manage material deal components independently
Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly; excellent writing and communication skills
