Seeking a lateral partner to join and help lead a busy commercial litigation team in the Chicago office of a leading U.S. law firm. The role focuses on managing high-stakes civil litigation, counseling corporate clients, and handling complex disputes through trial and appellate work.

The successful candidate will take a hands-on role in case strategy and courtroom advocacy, mentor and grow a team of litigators, and contribute to business development efforts. Established litigation partner with substantial trial and appellate experience.
Proven track record of managing complex civil disputes and supervising teams.
Demonstrated client development ability; a portable practice or book of business is desirable.
Active admission to practice (or ability to obtain) in Illinois and excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
