Senior role in a national public law and procurement disputes team, advising on the full procurement lifecycle and high-stakes procurement challenges. The team handles judicial review, urgent injunctive relief, damages claims and strategic procurement advice for public and regulated sector clients.

You will take supervised responsibility for leading complex, time-sensitive matters, managing case teams, instructing counsel and delivering commercially focused advice. The role involves close collaboration with public law, procurement and disputes colleagues and regular interaction with clients across healthcare, transport, defence, energy and infrastructure sectors.

There is a strong emphasis on business development, client relationship management, and mentoring junior lawyers, alongside support for professional development and use of legal technology and AI to enhance delivery.

  • Qualified solicitor with 6–8 years' PQE (Managing Associate: 6+ PQE; Legal Director: 8+ PQE).
  • Proven experience handling public procurement disputes and judicial review matters in private practice.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead complex, time-sensitive litigation and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong commercial judgment, client-facing experience and track record in business development.
