Senior planning lawyer role within a full-service real estate team that advises on development, investment, construction, regeneration and related dispute work. The planning sub-team acts for a mix of institutional developers, funds and private clients on planning appeals, compulsory purchase, policy challenges and planning agreements.

The post will focus on advising across the full range of planning matters including section 106 negotiations, permitted development, certificates of lawfulness, compulsory purchase, enforcement appeals, environmental impact assessment work, planning policy and due diligence for real estate and corporate transactions.

  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in planning/real estate law
  • Broad experience across planning work: appeals, CPO, S106, EIA, enforcement and policy challenges
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and project management skills; high attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator, able to work independently and collaboratively under pressure
