Mergers & Acquisitions Associate — Corporate (Midlevel)

Midlevel associate opportunity in a national corporate team focused on middle-market mergers and acquisitions. The role is open to candidates for Seattle, San Francisco, or Portland offices and involves working on buy- and sell-side transactions for private companies and strategic investors.

You will support deal teams on transaction structuring, due diligence, drafting and negotiation of purchase agreements and ancillary documents, and coordination of closing processes. The group collaborates closely with tax, real estate, employment, IP and technology teams and offers mentorship and early responsibility on matters.

• 3–5 years of M&A experience at a law firm (mid-market/transactional focus)
• Experience supporting private company mergers and acquisitions preferred
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Demonstrated interest in transactional practice and working on complex corporate matters
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission or eligibility for admission in the hiring state
