Mergers & Acquisitions Associate — Shareholder Activism (New York)

Mid-level associate role on a national corporate team, focused on shareholder activism defense for public companies. The position involves advising on public company M&A, securities matters and Delaware corporate governance issues.

You will work closely with senior deal and governance lawyers on high-stakes matters, contribute to strategic defense planning and help cultivate client relationships within the shareholder-activism practice.

• J.D. from a nationally recognized law school and high academic achievement
• 4-7 years' experience in public company M&A, securities law and corporate governance
• Hands-on experience advising public companies on shareholder activism or takeover defense
• Knowledge of Delaware corporate law and strong drafting and oral advocacy skills
