Apply in confidence →Seeking a mid-level associate to join a national cyber/data/privacy litigation and investigations team. The role is open to candidates in multiple U.S. offices and will focus on defending data security and privacy litigation and handling regulatory enforcement matters.
Typical matters include defending consumer protection and data-breach class actions, responding to state attorney general and federal agency investigations, and counseling clients on incident response and litigation risk. The team works cross-jurisdictionally with a sizable, multi-office privacy & data protection practice.
- 4–6 years of post-qualification litigation experience with a focus on privacy, data security, or consumer protection matters
- Experience with regulatory investigations (e.g., state AG, FTC) and/or defending data-privacy class actions
- Strong academic record from an accredited law school and excellent analytical and writing skills
- Ability to engage directly with clients, lead significant projects, and operate with technical fluency
