Apply in confidence →Senior associate-level opening for a restructuring and insolvency lawyer to join a well-established Montreal practice. The role focuses on restructuring, distressed-debt matters and creditors' rights, often involving cross-border or complex commercial restructurings.
The successful candidate will work closely with a team of specialists on contentious and non-contentious mandates, advising lenders, creditors and stakeholders in formal insolvency processes and negotiated restructurings. The role requires strong drafting and project-management skills and the ability to handle multiple matters in a dynamic environment.

- 3–5 years post-qualification experience in restructuring, insolvency or related distressed-debt work
- Practical experience with distressed debt, creditors' rights or corporate restructuring matters
- Admission to the Barreau du Québec (or willingness to obtain admission)
- Strong drafting, analytical and client-facing skills; ability to manage multiple files and work collaboratively with specialist teams
