Apply in confidence →National US banking and loan finance team at a leading international law firm is seeking a mid‑level associate to join its cross‑office practice. The team advises lenders, sponsors and corporates on a broad range of lending matters, including acquisition finance, asset‑based lending, syndicated TLA/TLB transactions, direct lending, note purchase private placements, receivables and equipment financings, and structured financings.
Associates will work on a highly varied transactional portfolio for both borrower and lender clients, in a collaborative, multi‑jurisdictional team. There is a preference for candidates based in New York or Washington, D.C., though qualified candidates with at least three years’ directly relevant experience will also be considered for other US offices.
- Minimum ~3 years’ directly relevant banking/loan finance transactional experience.
- Practical experience with syndicated and bilateral lending, acquisition finance, ABL, and related UCC issues.
- Strong drafting and deal execution skills and ability to collaborate with multi‑office teams.
- Juris Doctor from an ABA‑accredited law school and admission to a US state bar.
- Resume/CV required; cover letter and law school transcript encouraged.
