Senior negotiator role within a growing Belfast team supporting high-volume financial services documentation. The role focuses on negotiating and executing master trading and ancillary agreements for institutional counterparties, and will operate US hours (typical shift 13:00–21:00 or 14:00–22:00).

This is a hybrid role based in Belfast with regular collaboration across legal, credit, risk and operations stakeholders. You will manage negotiation workflows through client portals, maintain up-to-date records, and help streamline processes using legal technology.

There is an expectation to mentor and upskill junior negotiators and contribute to continuous improvement of negotiation playbooks and templates.

3–4 years' post-qualification experience negotiating financial services agreements.
Practical experience with master trading documentation and ancillary agreements (e.g. ISDA-style and similar market agreements) and familiarity with derivatives, securities lending and repo documentation.
Proven ability to negotiate with institutional counterparties (banks, asset managers, hedge funds) and to manage stakeholder approvals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working US hours and in a hybrid team environment.
Legal qualification (law degree or equivalent) preferred; experience with legal technology and process-driven negotiation is advantageous.
