Seeking a New York-licensed attorney to join a national firm's virtual office handling No-Fault Personal Injury Protection (PIP) matters. The role focuses on analyzing medical records and bills, resolving fee disputes, assessing coverage exhaustion and priority of payment, and advising on PIP claim exposures.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and responding to pleadings, discovery, and motions (including summary judgment and other dispositive motions), and representing the firm at arbitrations, court conferences, and hearings as required. The position works closely with attorneys servicing clients in the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation sector.

This is a primarily remote/virtual role with an expectation that candidates reside in or near New York City to attend in-person proceedings when necessary. The team offers a flexible billable-hour arrangement and seeks candidates who are proactive, collegial, and able to manage multiple matters under pressure.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience handling New York No-Fault PIP matters preferred
  • Active New York bar license and ability to appear at arbitrations and court hearings in NYC
  • Experience analyzing medical records and bills, fee disputes, coverage exhaustion, and priority-of-payment issues
  • Strong litigation skills: drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions
  • Excellent judgment, time-management, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple matters
