Apply in confidence →Experienced litigation attorney needed to join a national firm’s virtual practice handling New York No‑Fault Personal Injury Protection (PIP) matters. The role focuses on analysis of medical records and billing, fee disputes, priority of payment, coverage exhaustion, and related legal issues arising from PIP claims.
Responsibilities include drafting and responding to pleadings, discovery, and motions (including summary judgment and other dispositive motions), and representing the firm at arbitrations, court conferences, and hearings as required. The position works closely with the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit and offers a flexible billable‑hour arrangement.
The team values proactive, client‑focused lawyers who demonstrate good judgment, can manage multiple matters under pressure, and communicate strategy clearly.
- Active New York bar license and residence in or around New York City (in‑person appearances required).
- Minimum 2 years' experience; prior experience with New York No‑Fault (PIP) law preferred.
- Experience analyzing medical records, billing disputes, and coverage issues; drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions.
- Strong academic credentials, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven ability to manage competing priorities.
