Established Toronto corporate team is seeking a lateral partner to join its Corporate & Securities practice. This is an opportunistic hire: the group is open to strong, entrepreneurial partners who can grow a mid-market corporate and securities practice and who want a platform to expand their client base.

The role will involve leading M&A and corporate finance matters across public and private transactions, advising on general corporate issues, and mentoring junior lawyers. The team values commercial judgment, client development ability and an appetite for business-building.

Proven partner-level experience in M&A, corporate finance or securities (public or private).
Track record of originating and managing client relationships; a portable practice is preferred but candidates with demonstrable rainmaking potential will be considered.
Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to grow a mid-market corporate practice and to mentor junior lawyers.
Licensed to practice in Ontario (or eligible) and able to work in Toronto.
