Partner, Agriculture — Washington, D.C.

Seeking a senior lateral partner to lead and grow an agriculture-focused practice in the Washington, D.C. office of a well-established national law firm. The role will combine regulatory counseling, transactional support and industry-facing advice for agribusiness clients.

Ideal candidates will have experience advising on agricultural policy and regulatory issues, including emerging areas such as cannabis-related regulation. The team works across the U.S., so candidates with a portable practice and national client relationships are encouraged to apply.

• Partner-level experience in agriculture law, agribusiness or related regulatory practice
• Proven track record advising on regulatory, policy or transactional matters affecting agricultural clients; cannabis regulatory experience a plus
• Portable client relationships / demonstrated origination capability
• Ability to lead and develop a team and collaborate with national practice groups
• Bar admission or eligibility to practice in D.C. preferred
