The role focuses on counseling regulated entities and public-sector clients on complex regulatory, compliance and government-facing matters, and involves significant client advising, matter strategy and cross-practice coordination.
The partner will build and manage a team, develop new business, and work closely with government and public-policy specialists across the firm. This is a visible role with responsibility for client retention, risk management counseling, and growing a market-facing practice.
- Established partner track record in regulatory and compliance counseling, including experience with government-facing matters.
- Proven ability to originate and grow client relationships; a portable practice or demonstrable business development pipeline is desirable.
- Experience managing teams and supervising complex matters, with strong client-facing and writing skills.
- Bar admission or eligibility to practice in Washington, D.C., and ability to work in the office.
