Leading national law firm seeks a partner to join its Antitrust & Competition team in the Chicago office. The role involves advising on merger review, civil antitrust litigation, cartel and conduct investigations, and government enforcement matters across industry sectors.

The successful candidate will help grow and lead the local team, work on high‑stakes domestic and cross‑border matters, and partner with colleagues in other offices to service sophisticated corporate and institutional clients. There is an expectation of active business development and client relationship management.

Established partner with significant antitrust and competition experience (merger control, investigations, and/or litigation).
Admitted to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.
Proven ability to originate and cultivate client relationships; portable client base preferred.
Strong trial, regulatory advocacy, and transactional counseling skills; comfort working on cross‑border matters.
Leadership experience and aptitude for mentoring associates and building practice capacity.
