Leading national law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Edmonton office to strengthen a clear gap in the Bankruptcy & Insolvency practice. This is an active, partner‑level hiring need; the group is open to candidates at different career stages who bring a strong restructuring practice and growth potential.

The broader corporate team is also interested in partner hires across M&A and corporate finance, so candidates with a mixed bankruptcy/corporate practice will be attractive. The office values business development capability and the ability to originate and maintain client relationships.

Established partner or partner‑level track record in bankruptcy, insolvency or restructuring.
Portable book of business or demonstrable client origination and development skills.
Experience advising on corporate insolvency issues and related transactional work (M&A/corporate finance an asset).
Willingness to be based in Edmonton and to contribute to office growth and cross‑practice work.
