Partner — Capital Markets & Finance (Washington, D.C.)

Seeking a partner to join a well-established US law firm’s Washington, D.C. office to lead and grow capital markets and finance work. The role focuses on transactional securities and financing matters across public and private offerings, including advising issuers, underwriters and lenders on complex deals.

This is a client-facing leadership role: you will manage and develop teams, cultivate key client relationships and drive business development across the firm’s capital markets and banking platform. Candidates with a portable practice or demonstrated origination record are encouraged to apply.

• Partner-level experience in capital markets and/or finance transactions (public offerings, private placements, securitisations, or bank financings)
• Proven track record of leading deals, managing teams and delivering client service at senior level
• Demonstrable business development/origination ability; portable book of business welcomed
• Admission to the D.C. bar or ability to become admitted
