Well-established, full-service law firm is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow its compliance and environmental practice in the Kansas City office. The role combines regulatory counselling, environmental compliance, and transactional or advisory work for a diverse client base.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team and help develop business while managing client matters across state and federal environmental regimes. Candidates with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Established partner-level experience in environmental law and regulatory compliance.
Proven track record advising clients on state and federal environmental requirements; CEQA experience a plus.
Strong client development skills and willingness to expand a portable practice; existing book of business preferred.
Active bar admission and ability to practice in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
