Seeking a senior lawyer to join a well-regarded firm’s Los Angeles office to lead and grow the environmental compliance and regulatory practice. The role combines client counseling on regulatory risk, permitting and compliance matters, and courtroom or administrative representation as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record advising private and public-sector clients on environmental regulatory issues, with particular experience under California environmental statutes and CEQA. This is a partner-level role with opportunity to bring and develop a portable practice.

Established partner or equivalent seniority with a portable practice or demonstrated ability to originate business
Substantive experience in environmental regulation and compliance; CEQA experience strongly preferred
Comfort handling permitting, enforcement defense, administrative proceedings and client counseling
Bar admission in relevant U.S. jurisdiction and strong client-development skills
