Senior partner-level role within a well-established German law practice, based in Düsseldorf, focusing on regulatory compliance across financial services and banking transactions. The role combines client advisory on regulatory regimes with cross-border finance work, including matters arising under US-related regulatory frameworks.

The successful candidate will lead and grow a compliance and regulatory team, advise institutional and corporate clients on regulatory strategy, and work closely with the finance group on transactional and regulatory risk issues.

Established partner with a proven track record in financial services regulatory and compliance work (including experience with US-related regimes such as Dodd‑Frank).
Demonstrable experience advising banks, financial institutions or corporate treasury functions on regulatory and compliance matters.
Ability to build and lead a team and to originate and develop client relationships; a portable book of business or demonstrable client origination is expected.
Fluency in German and English; admitted to practice in Germany or equivalent qualification.
