Senior hire sought to lead and grow a Compliance & Regulatory and Finance & Banking practice from the firm's Hamburg office. The role focuses on advising banks, financial institutions and corporates on regulatory obligations, compliance frameworks and transactional/regulatory aspects of finance matters.

The partner will take a leadership role in team development, client relationship management and cross-practice cooperation on complex regulatory matters. A portable practice is welcomed and business-development contribution will form part of the mandate.

Established partner-level experience in regulatory and compliance work, with significant exposure to banking and finance matters.
Proven track record advising financial institutions and corporate clients on regulatory regimes and compliance programmes.
Strong business development skills; portable client relationships/book of business will be considered an advantage.
Admission to the German bar or equivalent qualification and ability to work in Hamburg.
