Partner — Compliance & Privacy (Technology) — New York

Major US law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its Compliance & Regulatory team in New York, with a focus on privacy and data-protection matters in the technology sector. The role will advise corporate clients on regulatory compliance, cross-border data transfers, vendor/privacy programs and related enforcement and incident-response work.

The position offers leadership responsibility within a busy practice group and frequent collaboration with transactional, cyber, and regulatory teams across offices. The firm is looking for a visible practitioner who can grow the practice and contribute to client development.

• Established partner-level experience advising on privacy and data-protection law, especially for technology clients.
• Strong regulatory and compliance background, including incident response and cross-border/privacy program design.
• Proven ability to originate or expand client relationships — portable business preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and working cross-functionally with transactional and cyber teams.
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and ability to work from the New York office.
