Partner — Compliance & Regulatory (Energy, Environment, Healthcare) — Washington, D.C.

Seeking a lateral partner to join a national practice from the Washington, D.C. office to lead and expand regulatory, compliance, and international trade work across energy, environmental, and healthcare sectors.

The role will involve counseling clients on complex regulatory regimes, cross-border trade issues, data privacy and cybersecurity matters, and representation before regulatory agencies. The team advises on compliance programs, investigations, trade remedies, and sector-specific regulatory matters.

Candidates should be entrepreneurial and able to grow a portable practice; there will be opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the firm’s regulatory, energy, environment, healthcare, and international trade practices.

• Partner-level experience with a strong track record in regulatory and compliance matters, preferably including energy, environment or healthcare sectors.
• Demonstrated experience on data privacy/cybersecurity and international trade or trade remedies matters.
• Proven client development and business-generation ability; comfortable building and managing a portable practice.
• Bar admission in the U.S. and experience representing clients before regulatory bodies and in cross-border matters.
