Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a construction and real estate litigation practice in the firm's Ontario office. The role focuses on contested construction matters and related real estate disputes across commercial and infrastructure sectors.

You will manage complex litigation, supervise associates, collaborate with transactional real estate colleagues when disputes overlap, and play a visible role in business development efforts. The team handles a mix of jury and bench matters and dispute resolution work.

Proven litigation experience in construction and real estate disputes, including courtroom and/or arbitration experience.
Admitted to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (Ontario office); ability to meet any local bar requirements.
Track record of managing matters and supervising associates.
Proven business development ability; a portable practice or demonstrated client origination is preferred.
Strong drafting, advocacy and client-management skills.
