Partner — Corporate & Commercial Litigation, Los Angeles

Leading international law firm seeks a lateral partner to strengthen its Los Angeles corporate and commercial litigation capabilities. The role combines high-value transactional work and complex commercial disputes across regulated and technology-driven sectors.

Ideal candidates will bring experience in life sciences, financial services, technology, energy (including automotive-related matters), and a proven ability to originate and lead cross-border matters. The team will work closely with offices in key U.S. and international markets.

Preference is given to established teams or partners with a meaningful portable practice and at least one anchor client. Candidates with steady career histories and demonstrated client relationships will be prioritized.

• Lateral partner with a strong track record in both corporate transactions and commercial litigation.
• Experience in one or more target sectors: life sciences, financial services, technology, energy/automotive.
• Proven client origination and the ability to bring a portable practice; teams are encouraged to apply.
• History of handling cross-border matters and working with offices in other major markets (e.g., New York, Northern California, Texas, London, Germany).
• Stable career progression; preference for candidates with sustained client relationships rather than frequent short-term moves.
