Seeking a lateral partner to join a national corporate practice in Los Angeles, focusing on M&A, transactional work and energy sector matters. The role will handle cross-border and domestic deal work across renewables, oil & gas and energy project development, with opportunities to advise on capital markets and technology-related transactions.

The team works closely with corporate and finance colleagues to execute complex transactions for sponsor, developer and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will be a rainmaker with an established book of business or demonstrable client relationships and will play a leading role in business development and team growth in the region.

Partner-level experience in M&A and corporate transactions
Substantive energy-sector experience (renewables and/or oil & gas) and project development background
Experience on capital markets and transactional tech matters preferred
Proven business development record and portable client relationships
Strong deal execution, team leadership and client management skills; admitted or able to practise in California
