Partner — Corporate, Energy & Technology (Washington, D.C.)

Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Washington, D.C. office to expand an established transactional corporate practice. The role focuses on M&A, tech transactions and capital markets work, with a substantial emphasis on energy matters including renewables and oil & gas project development and commercial deals.

The successful candidate will lead complex cross-practice matters, manage teams of associates and counsel, and be a visible client-facing presence. This is an opportunity to grow a portable practice or bring existing client relationships into a collaborative platform with national resources.

• Established partner-level transactional practice in M&A, corporate finance or capital markets.
• Experience handling energy-sector matters, including renewable energy and oil & gas projects, and technology-related transactions.
• Proven track record of business development and managing client relationships; ability to integrate a portable practice.
• Strong deal execution, team leadership and mentoring skills; admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
