Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to strengthen its Los Angeles corporate and energy transactional practice. The role focuses on M&A and other corporate transactions, with significant work across renewable energy, oil & gas project development and related commercial matters.

The successful candidate will handle complex deal work including transactional structuring and capital markets-related issues, collaborate with cross-practice teams, and help grow the West Coast platform. This is a partner-level opening for an experienced rainmaker with a proven track record in transactional energy and corporate matters.

Partner-level transactional experience in M&A, corporate finance or capital markets, with a strong focus on energy sector matters (renewables and/or oil & gas).
Demonstrated experience on project development and commercial transactions in the energy space.
Proven client development skills and an established portable practice or demonstrable business-generating ability.
Bar admission in California preferred; ability to work collaboratively across practices and mentor junior lawyers.
