Established law firm in Silicon Valley is seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a transactional corporate practice focused on technology and energy-sector clients. The role emphasizes M&A, tech transactions, project development in renewables and oil & gas, and capital markets work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of originating and executing complex deals, experience advising corporate and project sponsors across technology and energy industries, and the ability to work with cross‑disciplinary teams on high‑value transactions.

There is scope to bring a portable practice; the firm welcomes partners with an existing client base and demonstrated business development capability.

Partner‑level transactional experience in M&A, technology transactions, and/or energy project development
Proven deal execution and origination skills, with experience on complex domestic and cross‑border matters
Familiarity with capital markets work and commercial arrangements for renewable and traditional energy projects
Strong client relationships and demonstrated business development capabilities
