Senior partner hire to co-lead and build an established Corporate and Finance practice in Cologne. The role focuses on transactional work for private equity and venture capital clients, with a mix of large-cap and larger mid‑cap deals and cross‑border activity.

The successful candidate will handle complex M&A and fund/financing matters, develop client relationships, and work with a team of corporate and banking lawyers. This is a partner-level, business‑generating role where a portable practice or demonstrable origination capability is expected.

Qualified lawyer admitted in Germany (or equivalent) with partner-level transactional experience.
Demonstrable track record in private equity and venture capital transactions, including buy‑outs, exits and financings.
Experience on large-cap and larger mid‑cap transactions, including cross‑border work and coordinating with international counsel.
Proven business development ability and a portable practice or clear client origination record.
