Leading German-based international practice seeks a lateral partner to strengthen its corporate and finance offering in Düsseldorf. The role focuses on private equity and venture capital transactions alongside leveraged and structured finance work, with an emphasis on cross-border mandates.

The team advises sponsors, investors and corporates on mid-to-large-cap deals; the partner will lead transactions, build and manage client relationships, and work with colleagues across Europe to service international matters.

Firm welcomes candidates with an established, portable practice and a demonstrable track record of originating and leading complex PE/VC and finance matters.

Qualified lawyer admitted in Germany (or equivalent) with substantial partner-level experience in corporate and finance transactions.
Proven track record in private equity and/or venture capital deals; experience with larger mid‑cap or large‑cap transactions preferred.
Significant experience on cross-border matters and working with international teams.
Demonstrable business development capability and a portable client/network to grow the practice.
