Leading Austin practice seeks a lateral partner to join a busy corporate team with strong finance and securities capabilities. The role will focus on private equity, venture capital and capital markets matters, advising sponsors, issuers and financial institutions across transactions and capital-raising work.

The successful candidate will take a visible client-facing role, leading deal teams, originating work and mentoring junior lawyers. Opportunity to grow an established practice within a well-resourced platform that handles complex, cross-border matters.

Established partner-level experience in corporate transactions, private equity, venture capital or capital markets.
Proven track record advising sponsors, issuers or lenders on financings and securities matters.
Strong origination and client-relationship skills; a portable practice or demonstrable book of business is highly desirable.
Experience managing deal teams and mentoring associates.
Admission to practice in Texas (or ability to qualify) preferred.
