Leading global law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its Orange County corporate practice with a focus on finance and securities. The role involves originating and leading transactions, advising on finance and capital-markets matters, and managing client relationships across private equity and venture capital work.

The successful candidate will lead deal teams, mentor junior lawyers, and play an active role in business development to grow a portable practice in the region. This is a visible partner role with significant responsibility for practice growth and client service.

Partner-level experience in corporate, finance, or securities work, with demonstrated deal leadership.
Proven track record advising on private equity, venture capital, and/or capital markets matters.
Ability to originate and grow a portable book of business; business development skills and client network preferred.
Experience managing teams and mentoring associates; excellent written and oral advocacy.
Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction (California preferred).
